Paul Tender, M.D., Colorectal Surgeon
Dr. Tender is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon with twenty five years of practice and teaching. At Sonoran Surgical, Dr. Tender is committed to providing a collaborative and patient centered experience delivering a full range of colon and rectal surgical services.
Dr. Tender was raised in northern Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Akron and medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr Tender completed his General Surgery training at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan and his Colon and Rectal Surgery residency at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Dr. Tender’s expertise includes Office Based Proctology, Colon and Rectal Cancer, Crohns Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, and Diverticular disease. Additionally, his experience leading a multidisciplinary care team for patients with colorectal cancer has allowed him to see the benefits of this contemporary approach first hand.
After practicing for twenty five years in Illinois, Dr. Tender is excited to relocate to Chandler, and San Tan Valley, Arizona, and is looking forward to caring for this community.
